Four stacked gourd forms rise from a wide catch basin, a working ceramic fountain whose glaze progression is its own journey before the water runs. From the base upward: Iron Luster over Honey Flux on the lowest vessel, warming and grounding the piece at its root. Honey Flux over Arctic Blue on the second form, the warmth beginning to cool. Arctic Blue over Smoky Merlot on the third, the color deepening into something more interior. Ancient Jasper over Arctic Blue at the crown, the palette completing its arc at the highest point. The catch basin mirrors the second vessel, tying the water's destination back to the journey above it. At nearly 14 inches tall and 13 inches across, Flow State commands significant presence. It moves water, holds space, and changes the acoustic and visual register of any room it enters.
