Garden Consultation
With training from Gardenary and as certified permaculture designers, we are excited to help you create an extraordinary forageable garden in your landscape. Whether it's a patio, a sprawling estate, or a garden-to-table restaurant concept, we want to help you skip past the failures and into the garden fun.
A garden consult includes a one hour visit in your yard or space, a time for us to hear about your garden goals and plans for your space and then time for us to share what grows best each season here in Houston and what kind of set up would work best for your garden.
Afterwards, we send the detailed notes from our visit alongside recommendations to live your garden dreams that you may DIY or hire us to do for you. If you choose the latter, you will be left with your dreamy garden that is set up and ready for foraging!

What is the difference between a garden consultation and a garden design package?
A garden consultation is having a consultant in your space to help gain clarity for a vision that you are envisioning from any part of the process (something imagined or something that you’ve started and stopped). Consultants can get you unstuck, help you get started, or discern whether or not you’d like to hire for a full garden installation. Garden designers, like landscape architects and designers, have licenses and certifications for which they have studied and obtained through extended education. While we send a distilled reflection of everything discussed in a consultation that is a thoughtful plan and launching point for action, it is not a garden design. Our Garden Design packages begin at $650.
Please note that the following costs are generally associated with designs, consultations, and installations:

Consultation Rate: $150 per hour
Design Plans: $650 to $3,000
Garden Coaching: $150 per session, minimum 2 and accompanies other packages
Intermediate Design & Installation (medium-sized yard or small restaurant): $8,000 to $18,000
Full-Scale Design (large estate or commercial property): $30,000 to $90,000
