Made in 2016, Electric Start is the first piece of the InnerConnected Series, a growing body of work investigating relational tension, rupture, and repair that is now heading to institutional scale. Finished in Palladium glaze fired to cone 5, the chrome surface breaks at the joints in iron red, stress made visible at every point of connection. The rings here are tight, interlocked, vertical, an energy coiled before it learned to expand.
