The Garden Project

The Creole Garden Project

Sustainable and edible community gardening… in progress.

The Creole Garden Project is a community-sustained, continually evolving space dedicated to increased understanding of garden-to-table eating and land stewardship through thoughtful, collaborative work. Its purpose is to provide respite, context, and immersions for those desiring to reconnect with their ancestral connection to nature. We have contextualized the garden as a “project” to change the narrative from perfection to the notion that beauty is always under construction.

Nature-immersive mindfulness

Meditation, movement, and creative joy.

Yoga at The Ranch , hand built art, and other mindfulness workshops take place at our beautiful outdoor yoga shala dedicated to the reunification of the Self. With an understanding that we have become disconnected from ourselves, our creativity, others, and nature, this community is intended to reduce all forms of separation through journeying through all of the senses. The center brings art, yoga asana, food, nature, meditation, yoga education, and community together in an effort to guide people back into wholeness, compassion, and joy.

The Mill HTX

Healing through art and the creative process

The Mill HTX is a working sculptor’s studio and collaborative art education space committed to providing a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community and friends to come into healing and empowerment as they develop their voice through art.

Peruse memories from our workshops and community events.

Owners, Lenie & Tamika Caston-Miller, are committed to creating a safe and sacred space in a world becoming increasingly more angry and violent, particularly for BIPOC and LGBTQ communities. Lenie, a sculptor and art educator, shares her healing journey from war veteran to artist in an effort to empower others with PTSD to move from brokenness to beauty. Tamika is focused on sharing authentic yoga movement and conscious rest to foster healing from ancestral trauma, self-acceptance and empowerment, especially for communities of color and women.
